DJI officially released Osmo Mobile 2 as an upgrade of the currently popular Osmo mobile. This is an anti-vibration gimbal for phones, which eliminates vibrations and brings smoother video. The new version also has minor enhancements in both hardware and software
Regarding hardware, Osmo Mobile 2 now no longer uses separate battery, but it is instead built into the device. The DJI stated that the battery has three times the capacity of the old one and can shoot continuously for 15 hours.
Next update is that DJI also equipped with Micro USB port for charging and a USB out port, so you can use Osmo Mobile 2 as a backup battery to charge your phone in case the battery runs out. DJI has also adjusted the calibration capability, making Omso Mobile 2 able to mount phones vertically and horizontally. This will provide great assitance for Live streamer.
Regarding the software, in addition to the previous modes such as ActiveTrack and time-lapse, DJI has also added Mobile 2 hyperlapse mode to create impressive hyperlapse videos.
